Name that vehicle
It seemed to actually look like a lake, as much as it can here in Texas. What i mean is that I did not see all the trees and stumps left as they filled up the land to make a reservoir. It was a gloomy and rainy weekend so there was no real opportunity to get out on or into the lake.
OK part of not getting out on it was they had to look for hours to find a set of keys to ones pickup truck to move the boat into the lake to enjoy. Only to loose a good number of hours out of the afternoon to get out there for his son to realize that he had them in his pocket. Yes they were in his pocket!!
At one point I took a walk down the road only to stumb le upon a treasure I would like to share with you. I did not bring the camera along on my walk so I had to drive back to take the pics as you can tell in one of the pictures with my car in the background. Below you will find a few pictures I had taken for your sheer enjoyment.
And this treasure can be yours!
\
Yes it is FOR SALE for $700! That is a new and fresh for sale sign on it. If interested let me know and I can let you know where it is located. Can you tell what kind of vehicle it was?
I wanted to take a picture of a sign as well but forgot to take it the 5 times that we passed it. It read something like BYOB & PIZZA. It was a little corner store. Are they telling me that I should bring it there and eat while being merry drinking or that I could get both for the gathering I am going too? Well that is the small town I guess.

Global Warming Fact or Fiction?
Well I have come across some great articles for the other side of the argument. I think most people are hearing just one side of the argument without hearing the other side. People tend to believe everything they hear especially when everything they hear is one sided.
I wanted to have little snippets from each article after each Link below but it would be too long of a post. So please read the below articles for more.
Article one - Local scientist calls global warming theory 'hooey' (University Wisconsin Professor)
It also has a rebuttal at the end. Why do all of the articles you read about how bad global warming is ever have a rebuttal against after the article? Why only after the articles going against it?
Fun fact within the article tells us that Mr.Reid Bryson, 87, retired in 1985, but has gone into the office almost every day since. He does it without pay.
"I have now worked for zero dollars since I retired, long enough that I have paid back the people of Wisconsin every cent they paid me to give me a wonderful, wonderful career. So we are even now. And I feel good about that," said Bryson.
After reading that about Mr. Reid, whom do you trust?
Article Two -
Scientists Surprised by NASA Chief's Climate Comments
NASA Administrator Michael Griffin Questions Need to Combat Warming.
Article Three - NASA chief regrets remarks on global warming
In video, Griffin says he wishes he’d stayed out of debate on climate effects.
Why did he give in? Way too much pressure from the radicals spouting Global Warming rhetoric. Stick to your guns next time Mr. Griffen, speak and stick with it next time.
The only other excerpt I will share is from the rebuttal from Article 1 at the end of it.
"But I would say that the chances of that based on all of the best information at this current time are incredibly slim. And even though that possibility is out there, it would be irresponsible of us as a society not to act based on the best scientific information we have at the moment, which is that humans are causing the warming of the planet," she said.
I do agree with her in the extent that we should do what we should do to help the environment. We have been entrusted by the Lord God to take care of His land for him. How do I know? Because the Bible tells me so in Psalms 24:1 "The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;"
Do I believe in Global Warming? Yes! Do I believe that it is as the scientists all say? No! How do we know that what they are saying is truth? We don't! Could it not be this way cuz the Lord has made it this way for this day and age? Yes!
We need both sides of stories and so far most everyone is listening to one.

Lost
Wow pretty bad that I am putting an APB out for readers, not just readers but my loyal readers. OK it is a relatively small number to begin with but there were a few out there.
I have dedicated this and do this for you, my people. OK that is not true, I do like doing it but I like reading the responses that I get. When I get them. But if it would make you feel better then I do it for you my faithful readers.
If I need to put out a reward for them to return to reading and responding I might just do it.
Anyway it is summer and most people are not looking over the web as much as they do the other parts of the year. I can admit that I am far busier now here in the summer than most parts of the year.
With this being the case I am going to kill my readership even more by not updating as much. So I promise at least once a week but I will try to update twice but most likely it will be only once.
So if you feel like it respond real quick by saying "Hi".

Here is the deal
No, me neither, until this weekend. For some reason I paused our DVR to read it. Why this particular one? Well it was being hawked by a child star from “Different Strokes”. The little kid, not Willis but the other one who always said “whatcha talking ‘bout Willis?” Gary Coleman.
It is a great deal that I would like to share with you all. It is a loan service where you do not have to have great credit to apply for.
They use a loan of $2,600 as their benchmark. So for that $2,600 loan you have a meager APR of 99.25%. It also breaks it down nicely for 42 easy monthly payments of $215. OK it does not state “easy” in it but it should. Did you do the multiplication on that? It is over $9,000 in payments for that initial $2,600 loan.

To my FANS of Toebees Fume's
This is a statement by one Paris Hilton before she entered jail for her sentence. Well as you know she is out already, but she will be monitered for her sentence at home for 40 days.
That is not why I write. the reason is what I highlighted in Red above. FANS!! What has she done to generate fans? She can spend her dadies money and partied hard. That is what deserves fans these days here in these ol U.S. of A.
I know it can't be from her "music" career or from her "film" career.
What happened to the good ol days of someone actually doing something that deserved respect? Which in turn you become someones "fan" for what they have done.

Preggo brain is real!
Ya ever hear of Preggo Brain? I never did until I saw an episode from a recent show called “Notes from the Underbelly”. The last episode, I think, had the main lady character who is pregnant forgetting things and all that and blaming it on being pregnant, thus Preggo Brain is derived.
My wife lovingly and quite proudly made me lunch yesterday. So at lunch time I busted out my sandwich and chips and hunkered down at my desk to enjoy. I took a big bite of my sandwich and started chewing. As I was chewing I noticed that it was not the easiest to sandwich to chew.
Ya know when you by different prepackaged sliced cheeses from the store they have that paper between the slices? Yea you guessed it, she left a piece of paper on the cheese and I was now eating it with my sandwich.
I do appreciate the Love she has to make the sandwich, just funny to think about it though.

I am giving you my two weeks worth
OK, 2 and a half weeks ago Alycia and I were in Charlotte for meetings and interviews with SIM. As I wrote we have been accepted to join SIM as missionaries to Nigeria. The day after our return Alycia took on a school bus during a rain storm. The rain has been great and the earth green, not the usual brown & tan that is North Texas during the summer. Later that week it was stamped as “Totaled” so the car was no longer ours.
That next weekend we had a van reserved so we could deliver some furniture to some relatives of my wife. We have to make room for Caden (our child still stewin and brewin if you are not keeping up with my life) whom we have yet to meet.
We moved and packed the van on Friday evening for our departure on Saturday morning. So Saturday morning rolled around and we were on our way. I drove the van and Alycia drove behind me in our car. It was a rainy day for a drive but we made it to Houston safely.
That evening we went on our planned Anniversary dinner at her most fav. restaurant America’s. It was great as usual and a great time with my wife for our Anniversary even though it was a week earlier and my wife had her accident on the actual date.
OK that night we were sleeping until we were awaken by an ambulance at the home. So we ended up at the hospital at 2am for a while. We then got back to the house about 3:30 as there was really nothing we could do there. It was a scary situation when your half asleep, I cannot imagine the other side.
Well we got home Monday afternoon and since we were searching for a car Alycia looked in the paper from that day. She found a sale there and she called. They had two cars she was looking for and we went. Only to get there and find out they were sold earlier that day. A little bait and switch tactic. They tried to then upsell us into a car costing more. We did not go for it, we would not have felt right walking out paying more for any car bought there.
Tuesday night we found a car that we liked and were negotiating a price for it and came to a good price. We finished the paperwork in an hour and 15 minutes and were waiting for the finance guy to complete the sale. Well we found out that we could not purchase a majority of the car on Credit since the check we got was not clearing for a few weeks. The sales guy knew that we were looking to pay for it that way but said nothing. We wasted 5 hours Mon. and Tues. at these dealerships.
There is not enough space to write the whole episodes here since there are so many details that I am leaving out that would make you laugh, cry and gag. OK not really gag but the others would be done.
Wednesday we took the night off to rest and relax from all that we went thru. Alycia on her day off went to a few dealerships during the day Thursday while I was at work. She found a few cars she test drove.
Well we bought a car that night. Funny thing it was not one we thought of again. It is another Nissan Altima (gold) that cost under the check we got from Insurance. So we have money to spare.
We know have a Him and Her Altima’s in our household.
We have been busy as you can tell. Hope I can get back to a steady life soon, we shall see.
I spared you so many details once again for those of you with ADD or ADHD who might not read the whole thing.
